Death threat
Customer. Former television actress was engaged to a very wealthy businessman, 40 years older. A few months before her wedding date, the actress began receiving e-mail and social media messages from a man declaring love for her.
Problem. The couple were afraid that the admirer would be dangerous because, a few months earlier, presenter Ana Hickmann had been violently attacked by a fan at a hotel in Belo Horizonte. Before the attack on Hickmann, the fan had sent a message claiming to be in love with the presenter. Similarity to the on-screen case that caused the couple's concern.
Solution. The correspondence and messages were analyzed and an admirer profile study was carried out. It was concluded that the admirer was harmless and not dangerous. The former actress was told to end the correspondence politely. The admirer gave up contacting the actress and the marriage went off without a hitch.
